Livan Hernandez eats innings

Livan Hernandez, Orlando "el Duque" Hernandez's brother, has been known to pitch a lot of innings in a season. In fact, Livan Hernandez has averaged around 190 innings pitched the past three seasons.

Who knows how old El Duque is. I certainly don't, but I can guess. My estimation is the Orlando Hernandez is 43 years old. That would make Livan Hernandez 35 years young minimum.

All of that doesn't make a difference though. The fact remains is that the Mets staff needs pitchers to chew on innings and let the bullpen remain fresh.
