No Roids for Bernazard
Tony Bernazard, the NY Mets VP of player development, decided to take in a Double A game in Binghamton recently. Presumably, the Double A Mets played like the MLB Mets. In other words, the Binghamton Mets sucked, threw batting practice for the opposing team, dogged it in the field, and forgot how to get on base. This prompted Bernazard, like many other Mets fans, to get a little frustrated with the team.
Every Mets fan has felt this way, but Bernazard actually did something about his frustration with the team. He took a stroll down to the locker room, walked right in, took off his shirt, and challenged the players to fight. If he was a 13th century night, the gloves would have been slappin faces and duels would have broken out all over the place.
Now, Bernazard is an older guy, not exactly Mark McGuire-esque, but that's some pretty serious roid-rage if you ask me. Maybe he was fightin the Double A Mets because they were late on paying for their roids? Either that, or the Mets in the locker room needed to get him some Manny Man-gina steroids to level him out.
Either way, the way the Mets have been playing lately, I too would like to walk into the locker room and crush some skulls... maybe Bernazard should have just play some pranks on the guys.
