Well the NY Mets rumors have it pegged this time. Jason Bay, appears to have agreed to a 4 year deal with the NY Mets worth about $66MM with an option for a 5th year.

Jason Bay will obviously fit in well with the NY Mets, if the rumors are true, he may not even pass his physical examination.

This would be even better than Omar Minaya could have expected. He can pull in another aging and declining star whose body is already in the process of breaking down. He'll fit right in with Delgado, Tatis and Castillo.

The only way Jason Bay could have been a better fit for the NY Mets, is if he was from Latin America.
